Aris founded the pottery workshop Pilos in 2006 because of his love for art and culture. He landed on ceramics out of inherent curiosity. As an archaeologist, he found broken pots in excavations and was immediately interested in the way they were created. His vision is cultural education and this is why he formed a space where people can get to know and love art through creation. He has a weakness for pots and good stories.

Dimitris began his journey in the arts from graphic design and engraving. In 2017, he was introduced to ceramics at the Athens School of Fine Arts and the plasticity of the material, the gestural movements and the contact with the earth, made him give his art a third dimension. He loves sculpture and works that carry a naturalness.
Eleni, since she can remember herself, she creates. She entered the Athens School of Fine Arts in 2019 and since choosing ceramics as an elective, she has never worked with any other material. She loves the freedom of clay, she is an expert in the details of decoration and she loves to create stories with her art.

Elisavet graduated from the sculpture department of the Athens School of Fine Arts in 2024, but the wheel entered her life in 2022 while on Erasmus in Amsterdam. Since then, she has specialised mainly in the fight against the centrifugal force. She draws inspiration from mythical creatures and from exploring the connection between the ancient and the modern. She likes works with sharp and dynamic forms.
Eva is a regular patron at Pilos. She studied architecture and loves to find connections between the arts, sometimes successfully and always with laughter. In Pilos, she organises evenings that combine ceramics with whatever else inspires her.

Josephine started working with ceramics in 2020. With studies in communication, experience in organising and a love for the art, she became a member of Pilos to organise the unbridled creativity. She loves creating geometric shapes and imprinting words on clay.
