24/11/2024: Guided tour of the vase collection of the National Archaeological Museum in Athens
Tour of the National Archaeological Museum of Athens’s pottery collection
Our archaeologist and potter, Aris, led us on a two-hour tour of the museum. We focused on ancient Greek pottery, which is a characteristic example of the art and culture of the ancient Greeks. The vases we saw cover periods from the Geometric era to the Hellenistic period and highlight the evolution of techniques and artistic trends.
21/04/2024 – In Search of the Nemean Lion
With the guidance of our teacher and tour guide we successfully found the Nemean Lion. Then we made a tasting stop at the Bairaktari estate and finally had lunch at Oinos and Elaios.
