Coming soon 24/11/2024: Guided tour of the vase collection of the National Archaeological Museum in Athens
Our archaeologist and ceramist, Aris, will guide us on a two-hour tour of the museum and talk to us about pottery in antiquity.
On the tour we will focus on ancient Greek pottery, which is a typical example of the art and culture of the ancient Greeks. The vases that we will see cover periods from the geometric era to the Hellenistic period and highlight the evolution of techniques and artistic currents.
21/04/2024 – In Search of the Nemean Lion
With the guidance of our teacher and tour guide we successfully found the Nemean Lion. Then we made a tasting stop at the Bairaktari estate and finally had lunch at Oinos and Elaios.
